Red & Pink Lips: Be Bold!

There’s nothing in the rule book of makeup that limits you to a neutral palette when it comes to lip color. Whether your skin tone is a beautiful ebony brown or the creamiest of caramel, you still can rock a bold, red or pink lip! There are so many ways to rock these colors that will allow your lips to make a bold statement without exceeding your level of comfort. Don’t be afraid, it’s just color!
Here's what you will need:

LOOK #1 BOLD RED LIPS:
(*TIP : Your lips need to be in good condition before applying any products to the lip. Exfoliating your lips gently with a toothbrush is an easy way to start the prep of your lips it’s getting rid of dried skin cells and making the lips look less chapped and if u don’t want to exfoliate that way you can use lip scuff by the body shop to exfoliate. And to then condition with a lip butter or even a little Vaseline would do.)

Use a primer on the lips such as M·A·C’s Prep+Prime, Smash Box, Origins’ Underwear for Lips™, or even Sephora Brand "Tricks of the Trade" Perfection Primer.

Primer works great to down play the pigment on your lips from showing through your lip color.

Line the lips using M·A·C lip pencil “Nightmoth.”

Apply Avon’s Ultra Color Rich Cherry Jubilee lipcolor to complete the look.
Now, if you want to stop here, you can... but if you want that extra POP, apply either Sally Hansen’s Lipnotic Gem Gloss in Sumptuous, or M·A·C’s DAZZLEGLASS in Love Alert. This will give your lips a rockin’ Glam look that you can wear for a night out or just to give your lips that sexy edgy look! Whatever makes you feel sexy! Go for it, I totally dare you!
LOOK #2 LUSCIOUS PINK LIPS:
The next look is a luscious pink look! I know, I know real scary, huh? Well, Women of Color can definatley pull this look off. Just follow these simple steps:

Line the lips using M·A·C lip pencil “Plum.”

Apply Trimming Talk by M·A·C. This lipstick adds color plus texture, and is a luster so it kind of goes on sheer.

If you want to upgrade this look, I suggest you apply some M·A·C VIVA GLAM VI Lipglass to give it that bold statement of WOW!
