Perhaps in an effort to upstage his Ex-girlfriend, R&B starlet, Rihanna, Chris Brown's label announces his plans for a month long "fan appreciation" tour today. The tour will acknowledge and thank his fans for their ongoing support. Coincidentally, the announcement was released on the same day as Rihanna's debut single, Russian Roulette. Because the tour is conceptualized for and with 'fans only' in mind, intimate venues were selected for these concerts. The tour is set to kick off on November 14th at the House of Blues in Houston and will end in New York on December 15th.
It is reported that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Best Buddies International, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing friendships, jobs and leadership opportunities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Also receiving a portion of the proceeds will be the Jenesse Center in Los Angeles. The Jenesse Center is a non-profit organization that helps support victims of domestic abuse.
Brown will also perform next Tuesday at the New Jersey Giants Stadium.
